> *"It is God's place to judge. It is my job to send you to them."* ![[Tyche Portrait.png]] ## Overview Hailing from the noble house of Helikos, Tyche is an 81 year old high elf. She worked as a conduit for her local church as a youth, and though it was a "duty" at the time, she found it more fulfilling than any of her aristocratic chores. Unfortunately her responsibilities as a noblewoman caught up with her eventually and she entered a loveless marriage to strengthen her house's position. She was not opposed to her husband taking a mistress at the time, as it allowed her to split house duties with the woman and spend more of her time as she pleased, rather than be constantly embroiled in the prickly pursuits of politics. Unfortunately her husband's mistress did not share this amicable outlook and took it upon herself to orchestrate a smear campaign against Tyche in an effort to win her position as head of the household. The smear campaign was a success and Tyche was exiled from her house and her titles were revoked. And while she was upset at the time, Tyche knows that the Gods work in mysterious ways and she was excited to be free from the strictures of her life of nobility, reveling in the opportunity to practice her work as a conduit once more. Her only remaining qualm with the situation is her inability to see her three adult children (Boreas, Notus, and Zephyr) though she is confident she will find a way soon.
